Liam O'Brien, born on September 5, 1964, is an Irish former footballer who had a notable career with Tranmere Rovers. He played for clubs like Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers, Manchester United, Newcastle United, Tranmere Rovers, and Cork City during his playing years. O'Brien made appearances for Tranmere Rovers in the League Cup during the 1993-94 and 1998-99 seasons, as well as in the League Division 1 Play-Offs in 1998-99. He was primarily known for his midfield role and contributed to the teams he played for throughout his career.
